Passenger and Cargo Airline Business and Strategy Support
SASI was engaged by a major airline based in Europe offering both ACMI and scheduled services to the general public and tour operators. The initial six-month contract to assist with business and strategic planning, ACMI and interline partnerships was repeatedly extended to a full two years in order to complete some of the most complex objectives. SASI was able to arrange multi year contracts for ACMI services for the airline, plus provide network introductions and assistance regarding interline relationships, marketing support. We actively participated in development of cost control programs related to global cargo and ground services.
SASI was contracted by a well-established cargo airline to guide their entry to the global scheduled air cargo market, complementing a successful and existing adhoc charter business. SASI assisted with the recruitment and training of key staff, developed and negotiated strategic outsourcing of ground services, general sales agencies and aircraft equipment during the critical first year of operations culminating in a successful entry into the scheduled market at cost levels significantly under plan.
